FOUNDATIONAL YOGA COURSE FOR BEGINNERS. Learn the basics of yoga in a small group setting through a 4-session series. Improve your joint mobility, balance and stability, core strength, and learn breathing techniques that you can apply to your daily life. No previous Yoga experience required!

About the event
Great for all ages, fitness levels, body shapes, and abilities.
Slow-paced. A detailed explanation of the poses. Safety queues and alignment.
This series will empower you to confidently step into your first public class.
In the first 3 sessions, we will break down all the foundational poses, and practice them with several options and modifications, to make them accessible to all bodies.
We will learn the 6 movements of the spine for added mobility and a sense of well-being.
We will work on balancing postures using breath and gaze as tools to cultivate core stability and mental focus.
We will learn 3 different breathing techniques, Dirga, Ujjayi, and Nadi Shodhana pranayama, the most commonly used in yoga classes.
You will be able to practice these breathing exercises at home for stress relief and better sleep.
In the 4th session, we will review all the foundational poses and enjoy a 45-minute full yoga practice.
